Welcome to the AnablepSecurity Wi-Fi Sensor User Manual. This document is designed to provide you with step-by-step instructions for setting up and using your AnablepSecurity Wi-Fi Sensor for home and office security.

2. Product Overview

The AnablepSecurity Wi-Fi Sensor is a security device that connects to your local Wi-Fi network to monitor and provide alerts for home and office security. It allows you to access real-time data through a cloud-based platform.

3. Getting Started

3.1 Powering Up the AnablepSecurity Base Unit

To begin, plug in the AnablepSecurity base unit using the built-in AC wall adapter. The power light will turn on and illuminate in blue.

3.2 Connecting to the AnablepSecurity Wi-Fi Network

Using a laptop or smartphone, go to the device’s Wi-Fi settings and look for the “AnablepSecurity-XXXXXX” Wi-Fi network, where XXXXXX is the last 6 digits of the MAC Address of the AnablepSecurity Wi-Fi Sensor. Connect to this network.

4. Initial Setup

4.1 Accessing the AnablepSecurity Sensor Setup Page

Open a web browser and enter “192.168.4.1” in the URL to access the AnablepSecurity Sensor Setup page.

4.2 Selecting Your Local Wi-Fi Network

On the setup page, select your local Wi-Fi network.

4.3 Entering Wi-Fi Password

Enter the Wi-Fi password for your local network.

4.4 Providing Your Email Address

Enter your email address, where you will receive welcome emails and notifications.

4.5 Naming the Sensor

Give your AnablepSecurity Sensor a name for easy identification.

4.6 Connecting to the Internet

Click the “Connect” button to allow the AnablepSecurity Sensor to connect to the Internet.

5. Cloud Account Setup

5.1 Welcome Email and Cloud Account Creation

Check your email for a welcome message from the AnablepSecurity Team. Follow the instructions in the email to create a cloud account and sign in to the cloud platform.

6. Monitoring and Configuration

6.1 Monitoring Your AnablepSecurity Sensors

Within the cloud platform, you can monitor your AnablepSecurity Sensors in real-time and receive security alerts.

6.2 Changing AnablepSecurity Sensor Settings

You have the option to customize the settings of your AnablepSecurity Sensors through the cloud platform.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Updating Wi-Fi Settings

If your local Wi-Fi settings change or you move the AnablepSecurity Sensor to a new location, press and hold the WPS button on the AnablepSecurity Sensor for 10 seconds to update Wi-Fi settings. You can then follow the initial setup steps again.
